Additional Facts:
Outside of photography, I’m a bit of a cozy nerd at heart. I love unwinding with episodes of Doctor Who or relaxing with video games like Animal Crossing, anything that brings a bit of comfort and imagination into everyday life.
I’m also a mom, which has deepened my appreciation for the little in-between moments that often pass too quickly. Being a parent helps me stay patient, playful, and always on the lookout for the real, tender connections that make each family unique.
Photography has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, thanks to my grandfather. He introduced me to photography when I was a child, and I began learning on a film camera, an experience that still holds a special place in my heart. Over the last 6 years, we’ve spent countless hours printing and framing our photographs together in-house. That process taught me to appreciate the craft from start to finish and helped me understand how a printed image can hold memory, story, and emotion all at once. My grandfather’s creativity, love for art, and quiet encouragement continue to be a huge influence on the way I see the world and the work I do today.
Over the years, my passion for visual storytelling has allowed me to photograph from coast to coast in the U.S., as well as in many parts of Europe.
One of the most meaningful chapters of my professional journey was photographing for the Washington State Legislature in 2023 and 2024. That role gave me a front-row seat to moments of civic life and history in the making, and taught me even more about capturing powerful, unscripted moments as they unfold.
I love that this work allows me to meet people from all cultures and backgrounds. Whether I’m photographing a family playing in their backyard, a quiet moment between partners, or the joyful chaos of life with kids, my goal is always to create images that feel honest and true to who you are. I want you to walk away not just with beautiful photos—but with meaningful memories, too.
